Rock Hill Pride Festival 2026

Palmetto Counseling was proud to join the Rock Hill community for the 2026 Rock Hill Pride Festival, a weeklong celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community culminating in the annual Outdoor Festival in Downtown Rock Hill.
Organized as a grassroots community festival, Rock Hill Pride brings together local businesses, organizations, makers, performers, resources, and community members to celebrate Pride and help create welcoming spaces throughout Rock Hill.
Connecting with Our Community
Members of the Palmetto Counseling team spent the day at the Outdoor Festival meeting attendees, sharing mental health resources, and connecting with other organizations and members of our community.
Representing Palmetto were Executive Director Rich Schlauch; therapists Alycia Toohey, Erin Stuck, Dominique Calhoun, Kimberly Hicks, and Samantha Lee Dudek; and support team members Kelly Mabe and Tracy Tolen. The team also brought a little extra fun to the festival with a Pride Treasure Hunt and prizes for participants.
For Palmetto, events like Rock Hill Pride provide an opportunity to do more than introduce people to our services. They allow our therapists and team members to connect with the community outside the counseling office, build relationships, share mental health resources, and remind people that compassionate mental health support is available when they need it.

Palmetto was also proud to participate as a 2026 Rock Hill Business Ally, joining other local organizations and businesses in demonstrating support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

About Rock Hill Pride
Rock Hill Pride is a grassroots festival supported by local businesses and individuals. The 2026 celebration took place June 14–20 and included a week of events throughout Downtown Rock Hill, concluding with the June 20 Outdoor Festival featuring more than 150 vendors, LGBTQIA+ resources, activities, food, and live performances.
