About Reba

Reba Putorti joined the Palmetto Counseling team in August 2026. Guided by her personal work and pain she’s navigated throughout her life, Reba has a passion for working with individuals and couples who are feeling stuck dealing with trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, and/or chronic stress.

Beyond what she’s learned in her studies, Reba knows first-hand how it feels to be in the dark, but she also knows the incredible freedom that comes from setting boundaries, shifting perspectives, and building a life you truly love. When she suggests a tool or change, it’s because she practices what she preaches and has seen it work. It’s the desire to help others experience the same transformation she did herself that continues to drive Reba every day.

Thanks to her background in Higher Education Administration, Reba loves working with young adults navigating major life transitions. Also, because of her upbringing, which included hosting more than 30 international exchange students and traveling the world, Reba is deeply passionate about working with people from all walks of life.

Her therapy style is integrated, collaborative, and culturally attuned, using a combination of evidence-based tools. Meeting her clients exactly where they are, Reba leans on her deep, global curiosity and open-mindedness to gently challenge her clients to see things in a new light, while taking as much time as needed to get there.

To clients who have complicated feelings about therapy or seeking help, Reba wants you to know that taking the first step is often the heaviest part and that she appreciates the courage it takes to even make the phone call or walk through the doors of your first session. You can expect Reba to be a warm, understanding, and nonjudgmental confidant in your journey toward a brighter future.
