Adolescent & Teen Counseling
(Ages 12-17)

We are all the heroes of our own stories. Start shaping your narrative today.

Our Teen Therapy Services

Our brain is our biggest friend but also our biggest adversary, especially during the tumultuous teenage years. With frequent change and increased responsibility, often come challenges, especially if mental wellness is not addressed.

If you or your teen is consistently experiencing negative experiences — like difficulties at school, self-isolation, and worrying — therapy can help illuminate the source and outline a plan for relief and growth. We recognize that seeking help isn’t always easy, but we’re ready to listen with our ears open and minds free from judgment.

At Palmetto Counseling, Adolescent & Teen Therapy is available at both of our locations for kids aged 12 through 17, serving the Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and South Charlotte communities.

What to Expect

The first appointment with your therapist will be an initial assessment to identify focus areas, discuss your goals, and determine your recommended treatment plan. This will include your recommended session frequency.

Palmetto’s team of exceptional therapists has been carefully selected to provide intentional care and clinical diversity for our entire community. When booking an appointment, you can request a counselor whose specialties best align with you or your teen or lean on our team for suggestions. See our teen therapists below.

Beyond our doors lies a safe, soothing space dedicated to healing. With each visit, we’ll help you release what’s weighing you down, layer by layer, allowing you to walk lighter into your future.
