Before Requesting an Appointment
Before requesting an appointment, we recommend contacting your insurance company to verify that our practice is considered “In-Network” with your plan. If your insurance requires a referral prior to seeing a Specialist, please contact your Primary Care Physician so that you have the referral in hand at the time of your visit.
As a courtesy (and with your permission), Palmetto Counseling will contact your insurance company to verify benefits for outpatient behavioral healthcare services to determine your co-pay, co-insurance, and the amount of your deductible that must be met before insurance will reimburse for treatment services provided.
We strongly advise that you also contact your insurance company to verify your benefits. If your claim is denied by your insurance company, you will be responsible for the full amount of all professional fees and charges for services provided.
