About Jill
Jill brings 25 years of experience as a mental health professional to our Palmetto Counseling Team. Starting in September 2024, Jill focuses on helping her clients find their strengths and empowering them to achieve their goals. Optimistic by nature, Jill leads with positivity and has helped others find the good for as long as she can remember. She was born to be a listener.
Taking a client-centered and strengths-based approach, Jill is especially passionate about working with teens and young adults. She believes this time in life is the most crucial to building positive self-esteem and developing healthy coping skills. Through her emotional support and judgment-free listening, Jill works with all clients to identify achievable goals and how to reach them together.
Therapy offers a safe place to vent, a sounding board, increased self-awareness, an outlet for feeling overwhelmed, and personal growth. As Jill’s client, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and compassionate environment dedicated to your progress.
“Seeking help is the hardest part. It gets easier from there. The therapeutic relationship is so important, and if it doesn’t work the first time, don’t give up.”
—Jill Soucy, LISW-CP, LCSW
Education
- Master’s in Social Work, Boston College
- Bachelor’s in Psychology, Stonehill College
