Inspired by the care he received for his experiences with anxiety and depression through counseling, Rich opened the doors to Palmetto Counseling & Consulting Services LLC in 2008, originally operating as a solo, private practice.

Rich started Palmetto Counseling with the vision for it to be the premier mental health provider in the Carolinas, offering care for clients of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Serving the community for more than 16 years now, Palmetto Counseling has grown immensely while staying true to its founding motto, “Helping People Move Forward.” Today, Palmetto Counseling has two locations (Rock Hill and Fort Mill), a team of 10-plus licensed clinicians and four administrative support staff, and serves more than 1,000 clients every month.

As Founder, President, and CEO, Rich manages both therapeutic and administrative operations for each Palmetto location. He develops and updates new metrics to boost productivity and performance, and he ensures that every client receives the high-quality care they deserve. Focused on delivering evidence-based treatment and maintaining practice-wide unity, Rich sets and oversees therapy goals that adhere to Palmetto’s mission to help all clients move forward.
