Child Therapy
(Ages 3-11)

We know you want the best for your child, and so do we. Allow us to listen and provide additional support to help you both succeed.

Our Child Therapy Services

Because we have therapists who specialize in a variety of topics, our team can provide individualized care for your entire family — and this includes Child Therapy.

We understand that every parent wants the best for their children and that these important developmental stages are not always easy to navigate. Child Therapy at Palmetto Counseling focuses on getting to the root of what a child is facing and determining a treatment plan that directly involves the parents or guardians. Our goal is to equip you and your child with the tools needed to work together to build a brighter, more productive path forward.

Child Therapy for children ages 4 through 11 is available at both of our Palmetto Counseling locations, serving the Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and South Charlotte communities.

What to Expect

Beyond our doors lies a judgment-free, soothing space dedicated to supporting your child’s needs and building a foundation for a positive future.

Whether or not your child has a referral for our services, your specialized therapist will begin by assessing your child and the difficulties at hand to determine a diagnosis, the most effective treatment approach, and visit frequency. If medication is involved with the recommended course of treatment, we are happy to provide a referral to a prescriber within our great network of clinicians.

To start the journey, see the specializations of our child therapists below, or lean on our team to find the best fit for your child. Each session is a step toward the unique healing and healthy habit-forming your child needs to thrive.
